Class Activity 1: Group 2

1. The website is about family and child protective services. And the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services publishes the site.
2. The language used for the site is more formal, but with the links for the different chapters they advertise more information, making it easier and more efficient for the reader to navigate the site. The word choice is chosen for anyone with basic reading skills. The information is specific and clear.
3. The visual design for the site is simple and doesn’t distract from the information the site has to offer. The graphics are basic and not flashy.
4. The authors put the site up to inform the public of particular family and protective services. The site solves problems with having to keep calling for certain information and gives the reader additional information that can’t be easily answered over the phone. And cuts costs on hard copy paper.
5. The goals of the publishers are to inform readers on specific information regarding child and family services.
