After-Class Resume Response

While working on my resume I noticed that the "don'ts" are good advice. I noticed that my objective is not clearly stated if at all. I need to work on my parallelism and adjust my white space. I noticed some of the Microsoft Word templates offer certain types of resume but not quite what I needed. I think my resume is a combination of both a skills resume and a chronological resume. I was confused on how to explain the large gap in time of my work experience and my current status but the reading states that I should address this in the job letter. So as it stands, I am using all the "do's" and "don'ts" of the after-class reading to help tweak my resume.
